INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Democratic Party, the organization that advocates for the future of Indiana and its families, today criticized Secretary of State Holli Sullivan for refusing to acknowledge the 2020 presidential election was fair and legitimately decided by the voters. Sullivan’s silence and dodge on the question came not even an hour into her new job. The Indiana Democratic Party predicted Secretary Sullivan would live up to the “yes person” reputation of the Indiana Republican Party, and it looks like the status quo will only continue in the near future.
This means the Indiana Republican Party will do anything possible to prevent all Hoosiers from their constitutional right to vote, which includes denying Hoosiers access to the vote by restricting absentee-by-mail during a global pandemic and refusing to expand voting hours across Indiana. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: The Indiana Republican Party has no vision for the state of Indiana and its families, and it’s why voters shouldn’t trust them.
