02/09/2011 - Uran files for re-election to C.P. mayor (Times of Northwest Indiana)
CROWN POINT | Mayor David Uran filed documents on Tuesday to run for a second term as Crown Point mayor.
Uran, a Democrat, said he will campaign on his accomplishments over four years and his administration's goals for the future.
"We tackled the issues we said we would tackle," Uran said, including flood-relief measures and fiscal belt-tightening.
"We haven't reduced services. We've done more with less."
